Sapience Partners tasked our team with creating their logo and branding kit. The design needed to integrate the concept of sapience—great wisdom and sound judgment—with elements of mentorship, knowledge, and continuity. Additionally, it had to include the phoenix, symbolizing new beginnings and renewal.
To address these needs, we began by breaking the project down into it’s essential elements: color, typography, and logomark. Our approach was to systematically incorporate the themes of wisdom, mentorship, knowledge, continuity, and the phoenix symbol into these design components. This method allowed us to create a cohesive and meaningful brand identity that reflected the client’s core values and vision.
For the typography, we chose DM Sans to embody the clarity and professionalism of Sapience Partners. This typeface offers a clean, modern look that aligns well with the themes of wisdom, knowledge, and continuity.
To include the idea of wisdom and creativity that our client wanted to showcase, we settled on a vibrant indigo color to highlight their brand in both a rich and symbolic way.
For the logo, we drew inspiration from the phoenix, symbolizing new beginnings and renewal. We aimed to create a design that was both geometrically sound and visually impactful.
